First of all, how is it already March 5th?!? My birthday is in 5 days and I'm just not ready :) But seriously it feels like New Year's was yesterday. Anywho, I dont' have anything specific to talk about today so I'm just going to ramble about some things I've been up to lately. I apologize for the rambley-ness the past couple posts but I'm sure I'll be back with more organized thoughts soon enough.

First, I watch a lot of TV on the abc.com app. This is annoying because the commercials are unavoidable, but every now and then there is a commercial worth watching. Case in point, yesterday I saw a commercial for Scandal featuring this song which I immediately downloaded. So good.

BTW, does anyone watch Scandal? I've never seen it but the previews make me want to.

I've also been making my way through The Virgin Diet, which has pretty much convinced me never to eat dairy, gluten or soy again. The definition of never being "until I see a sandwich/muffin/frozen yogurt/soy latte and forget everything I've read" that is. I'll give you all a full recap whenever I've had a chance to finish and fully digest (no pun intended) the book.

I promise I have left my apartment in the last five days - it hasn't been all TV-ing and reading. On Thursday night I went to the rodeo (woo hoo) and still kinda can't believe I rode this terrifying ride.

Should have stuck with the Starship 2000.

I've also been doing my fair share of poking around on Craig's List for nothing in particular but found a few things that caught my fancy - like this room divider, these lucite lamps, this antique buffet, and these arm chairs (I'd recover them). Ugh Dallas, your Craig's List is too good!

I've also been obsessing over Empire chests after seeing them used as nightstands on Little Green Notebook. I haven't been able to find any cheap ones since then but I'm keeping them in the back of my mind for now.

Tuesday - 30 minute HIIT cycling
Wednesday - Define, 30 minute elliptical HIIT workout
Thursday - Ran 4 miles at 8:30 pace
Friday - 30 minute HIIT cycling
Saturday - Rest day
Sunday - Rest day

What piece of furniture have you been wanting recently? What's the scariest ride you've ever ridden? I think I'd have to say the Great White Shark suspended roller coaster at Sea World. Also the most fun though!
