Incline Walking Workouts & Prabal Gurung for Target

You know those days when you need a workout, you know it will make you feel better, but you just. don't. wanna. do it. I'm usually pretty good about motivating myself to work out, but on the days that I'm not, I will sometimes talk myself into incline walking. I don't know why this seems easier than other forms of cardio because really it is not. Perhaps the absence of "jumping" and "omg-too-fast" feeling you get with running makes it easier to digest. Also,it can be done while watching TV. For whatever reason, I find it really difficult to watch TV while running, elliptical-ing, and cycling, but have no problem doing so while incline walking. I know other people can TV workout til the cows come home, but I unfortunately can not. I find music more motivating and distracting for most types of exercise. But when it comes to incline walking, TV is my homedog. Whatever camp you're in, try this incline walking workout the next time you're feeling a little "lazy" - I don't think you'll be disappointed.

And here's a more advanced incline walking workout from Julie at Peanut Butter Fingers. 4 mph at an incline of 12.0% is NO JOKE. If you are a walking wizard you could repeat this for a total of 40 minutes. Also, twice the TV!

P.S. Have you picked up anything from the Prabal Gurung for Target collection yet? I watch Revenge and Nashville on the abc.com app and have seen the commercial for the collection at least infiniti times.

I am digging this top, dress, and neon chartreuse ankle strap heels. I think these would look awesome with dark skinny jeans and a black or white top. Oh, and deep red nail polish. Yum.

What's your "I don't wanna workout, but I wanna work out" workout? Have you snagged anything from the PG for Target collection yet?
