Old Navy For The Win

Y’all. How did I not realize that Old Navy currently has some really cute (and cha-heep) stuff?!? I feel like it’s a secret or something. Well it was a secret, and now I’m sharing it with you. Don’t believe me? Let me break it down for you. In the past two days I have purchased the following items from Old Navy, all for under $250.

  • 2 workout capris
  • 1 workout tank
  • 3 pairs of jeans (2 of which are leopard – rawr)
  • 1 leopard sweater (meowww)
  • 1 floral tunic
  • 1 chiffon button down blouse
  • 1 pair of black chino style shorts
  • 2 pairs of linen drawstring shorts

I am an Old Navy wizard! Granted, their active wear is 40% off and I used a 35% off coupon on three of the items, but still. So affordable. The active wear is 40% off through January 16th, so if you need new gear I highly recommend visiting your nearest ON. You could also order online, but predicting clothing sizing is an art I have yet to master. If you do decide to buy online, I personally found that the two pairs of capris I bought were true to size, but I had to go up a size in the tank to prevent a sausage casing situation. In terms of how these items perform outside the dressing room, I wore the tank and black capris to Define this morning and loved them both. I definitely think the more form-fitting items are most conducive to my gothic lifestyle flattering in black, but they are also available in some really fun colors if you dare.

Here are pictures of everything I purchased, with links where available. I got the leopard sweater in the clearance section, so that one’s mine and mine alone; but there were loads of everything else at the store I visited. I had to try really, really hard to resist the voice inside my head saying “BUY ALL THE THINGS!” But I did it just so I could leave some for you. You’re welcome.

On a total side note, have y’all heard the new B. Spears and song?

I've gotta be honest - I’m not sure what to think. Brit Brit’s weird accent at the beginning is very reminiscent of the song below, and I am having a hard time coming to terms with that.

What do you think of Scream & Shout? Any secret clothing stores up your sleeve (no pun intended)? Please share with the class.
